On a first listen to Walking Medicine, I immediately wondered why I hadn’t heard of miQa.El before. There’s clearly such a talent behind his voice, a know how that would lend itself to being the voice and pen behind so many a hit song from years gone by. Of course, it didn’t leave me too surprised to find out that the artist has been a song writer for artists like Jimi Jamison (Survivor), Bobby Kimball (Toto), Little River Band, Giant (Dann Huff), W.E.T, Eclipse, and more.
On ‘Walking Medicine’, he delivers a rousing and anthemic rock performance that’s bound to get you off your bed and into the world ready to take it on. There’s an inherent stirring quality to it, a powerful boom that comes in the chorus line that gives it this quality that makes you feel it would be so in tune and in its best place in a stadium. If you’re looking for something to fight for and inspire you, look no further.
