A true confluence of so many different genres and styles, Skar de Line opens ‘No Eyes In Paradise’ with so much pomp and splendour that you’re simple drawn in to what this London based artist is trying to deliver. It’s such an opulent song, draped in luxury and scale to elevate it into this grandiose and anthemic choir of a tune. With equally luxurious visuals to match, the song is a true pop anthem of another scale and size. The song is heavily introspective, to the point of an almost sad and depressing state of nihilism and struggle. The lyrics describe purpose and output, the point/pointlessness of it all hinging on the legacy you leave behind in the way you’re remembered.
With an almost pristine chapel-esque visual depiction of this entire journey and emotion, ‘No Eyes In Paradise’ is pop excellence.
