The project is the brainchild of Cali-rock scene’s own James Davis who originally made waves in the 00s with his previous band Shameless as lead guitarist. There’s a celebratory feeling to the whole track, a kind of energy that inspires and instils positivity, with the lyrics echoing that concept of one last shot at a Saturday night. It’s all about excess, in the sheer weight of the ensemble, the delicious licks on that guitar solo, the passion behind the drums and vocals, and in the obvious decadence echoed in the lyrics.
