LA based indie artist ‘Yukkon’, a former USC music student, has an especially sunny tinge and feeling to his brand of warm indie folk music. ‘Under the Sun’ builds, it moves with purpose, it grows with emotion, and it shows its passion in an expansive and altogether euphoric sheen that has you enveloped, overwhelmed, and entirely enraptured. It’s slightly psychedelic, but it succeeds in delivering a warm and resplendent piece of indie pop music that has a dreamy and anthemic cloak all over it. Although he’s only been making music for a while for over two years now, ‘Under The Sun’ is a remarkable showcase of flowery and glimmering indie pop that most people will relish for the sheer undying good vibes.
The song is in and of itself a journey, an exploration that has you transfixed to the way it progresses and builds with such poignance and eloquence.
