On ‘What Do You Want’, Garvie (a proud snowflake) berates the constant negative press attention aimed at young people. It’s got an almost reggae sounding hook that has you lambasting the constant hatred and anger levelled on a generation who have learnt to speak up, to fight for what’s right and constantly keeping you hooked to the infectious energy he’s able to deliver in droves through a simple but melodic guitar riff and a flurry of soaring synths that elevates the song into something anthemic.
