There’s something that immediately perks your attention from Eliot Allison’s work. The London based electronic artist has a way with production that’s markedly and pointedly different from his contemporaries. He brings to life entire environments through simple but intricate electronic melodies that mesh together into multi-dimensional and mystical electronic interlays. Eliot Allison is a multi-dimensional artist – as well as playing in Orchestras, Indie bands and recently working as a composer/musician with Theatre companies in the South-west, he has had art exhibitions in London, Berlin and China and holds an MA from the Royal College of Art.
His artistic expression is wildly experimental and evocative, bringing to life a flurry of pitter patter driven electric highs and lows that put you in a trance like state of pure bliss. ‘Hey’ is serene, magical, and tranquil in the best way possible. Rarely have I found myself so utterly in awe and in utter peace while still feeling amazed and intrigued at all the various sonic elements scattered all around. Watch out for Allison, he’s got loads to come.
