From the ever pleasurable indie folk/rock band led by Lebanon-based Sandra Arslanian, comes the evocative and alarmingly awakening “Wake Up”. Filled with luscious synths, a hypnotic vocal performance, and a shimmer of electro-acoustic beats, Sandmoon piece together a magical and sonically sumptuous piece of alternative sounds that put together come into something that’s distinctively unique to this group. There’s little to no chance you would have come across a group attempting to piece together sounds like the ones you find on ‘Wake Up’, a mesmerising haze of varied cultural and instrumental influences that merge together into one seamless flow to entirely immerse yourself in.
It’s a journey that will leave you entirely perplexed at moments but more intrigued and continually piqued.
