Experimental, industrial, and straight out of the leftfield, Procrastinatrix opens “Holding Pattern” with a visceral and riveting piece on “A Higher Mathematical Power”. In complete recognition and stylistic consistency to most of the album, the track is filled with so many multitudes within multitudes of sonic layers that comprise of synths, samplers, and more to create a hazy and otherwise healing piece of music through an almost robotic and industrial sonic exploration of what it means to deal with pain and loss.
