Sometimes all it takes is a single composition, with a single instrumental section, to really have you feeling all kinds of ways. The Kaz Experiment brings to life an emotion on “Curiosity” that’s internal and particular to where you find yourself at that moment. The simple pitter patter of the piano, the highs and lows of the keys being played just find their way into your nervous system, calming and reassuring you that the external anxieties are all but temporary. It’s the consistency of the melody that has you transfixed, a particular rise and that maintains a pattern of progression that you start to delve deeper and deeper within through each passing moment.
Albeit just under two minutes long, “Curiosity” is an introspective journey that sort of yearns you to hit replay. It doesn’t feel complete because it feels like an emotion that you can tap and lock into. Pure piano bliss.
