It’s a topic thats eternal and delivered with a melodic structure that’s scintillatingly tense. Alexa Lash’s fun yet introspective darkness on “Fate” is one that basks itself in its own atmosphere, allowing a picturesque and grandiose visualisation of landscapes, arenas, and scale that gives it the gravitas that really delivers what Lash is trying to bring out. It’s delivered with such resounding power, both exemplified in her own vocals, but also bettered and improved upon by the powerful drum pattern behind her and an occasional lead guitar takeover that floods with emotion. The continual descriptives of “Fate” are the undoubtable highlight for me, brought to the forefront by such an emotive performance from Lash herself.
“Fate’s made you its lover”.
