The songwriting and production duo from Atlanta, ALLYOURS, gleefully combine a sensual confluence of pop, r&b, and hip-hop to make sumptuously addictive modern pop anthems. On their latest three track EP, which really is two fully fledged tracks and a minute long mood setter, they heavily lean into atmospheric production, sultry vocals, and sensuous arrangements. Desire and lust are front and centre on this record, making for ideal late night sex music . There’s no real dilly dallying on this record, with both sides of the aisle comfortably addressing their desire for each other and what they want the outcome to be.
‘Taste’ is all about that initial moment of discovery, meeting someone and translating their body language. The final song, Poppin, sees the female protagonist completely displaying her layers of attraction are on full display. There’s no shyness or hesitation, its a fully fledged expression of desire and lust.
As far as sensual r&b goes, ‘You Deserve It’, is a wonderfully atmospheric addition to a stylistic interpretation of r&b that places feeling and desire front and centre. At only six minutes long, it’s an EP that doesn’t demand too much out of you, simply realising that a raw and smooth expression of desire and lust does so much in and of itself. The production perfectly complements both the sultry singing and the smooth and direct rap. Sensual as hell.
