Hazy, blurry, and entirely slurred in its arrangement, Chavvy’s electronic experimental escape that is Rose Garden is a lavishly constructed and phenomenally surrealist experience. Loaded with hypnotic beats and mesmerising interplays, this Australian based multi-faceted composer doesn’t adhere to any norms in the slightest when painting his garden. The mesh, a layered interweaving instrumental soundscape is constantly filled to the brim. At not a singular moment does it relent bar the tracks closing seconds where a calming and soothing piano outro offers the precise reassuring and relieving catharsis and reprieve from the otherwise symphonic chaos that it succeeded.
It’s a fleeting experience despite its four minute long duration. You don’t feel the time go by, entirely hypnotised and captivated by the experience delivered to you.
