Described as if an event when Jimi Hendrix sat in on a Byrds session, Chucky Trading Co’s ‘Your Freedom’ is a distinctly classic record which sounds straight out of a time capsule. Of course, that doesn’t one bit detract the composition or arrangement that this acoustic based artist has pulled off here. It has that innately timeless sensibility to it, the poignance in the lyrical expression and the soothing nature of the acoustic riff simply effortlessly powerful in their poise and substance. A soft rock record unlike any other, ‘Your Freedom’ is a transient piece of classical composition that’s as soothing as it evocative.
