Opening with a stripped guitar section that builds the tension and atmosphere, Coma Beach then hit you with an absolutely frenzied assault as the entire arrangement comes crashing down with fervour filled drums and thrashing guitars. The punk hard rockers from Germany release a track that screams anguish and catharsis all at once. It’s loaded with pain and passion, a fury at yourself and the world at large all at once. “Nothing Right” has them singing lines like “tell me the meaning of my life” and other fundamentally existential ponderings but with an anger and aggression that’s palpably furious.
It’s boisterous and gets your blood boiling, there’s a fury and passion that’s unfettered and unrestricted. Coma Beach brings out the worst of us in a way that’s healing through its rage.
