A finely textured and meticulously detailed piece of electronic pop, Kimerica’s Guarda come me ne vado is the kind of arrangement that you need to be completely immersed within, entirely surrendered to, and wholly subservient amidst to completely imbibe it in its entirety. The downright hypnotic track from the Italian psychedelic pop artist is partially chaotic but wholly ethereal and dreamlike. It feels ambient but suspended and and textured beyond measure. The contrast between the dreamy and supple vocals alongside that driving and powering bass allow for a message to seep through. One that states in no uncertain measures that it’s time to leave.
In a way, the track is about rebirth and opening a new life and experience. It’s truly chaotic but more imaginative and wondrous with each passing note. You feel strangely drawn to it, an obsessive element that manages to grasp you firmly.
