Based upon the legend of the Merry Maidens and the Pipers of Boleigh, this absolutely delightfully quirky and fun indie rock tune from KLEN had me gleefully smiling throughout. Defiantly weird and wacky, there’s a refreshing sense of self-expression and uniqueness that The Pipers so easily exudes. Filled with a hilarious and absurdist video and an equally all over the place musical arrangement, this chaotic and infectious tune is bound to have you jumping up and down. Filled with sounds reminiscent of psychedelia to modern indie to good old 60s garage, it’s an eclectic kerfuffle of what can only be best described as good natured rock and roll music that hits you at your most visceral level.
If you’re yearning to hear something that’s so obviously and refreshingly distinct and diverse, ‘The Pipers’ is bound to have you raging out to its admitted and unwavering weirdness in the best of ways.
