‘Higher/Vision Two’ is a sheer whirlwind of a track. Straight out of another time, perhaps an other dimension altogether, this EDM infused piece of funk and groove just exudes a certain breakbeat energy that combines freneticism with serenity in the most confounding yet blissful of ways. Coming straight out of Oslo, Norway, the group deliver a kind of driving and pulsating energy that keeps lifting you further and further upward, continually building further and further upwards till you can’t seem to get yourself out of this delightful electronic whirlwind of intoxication.
It’s rare to find a fusion of funk and EDM done so stylish and swaggerous while still being an absolutely elevating and energised fury that has you jumping from wall to wall. Impossible to walk away from, even more impossible to find yourself immobile to, ‘Higher’ leaves you ten feet above where you started off with.
