There’s an infusion of powerful commercial dance pop in the opening two tracks before ‘Bubble Everywhere’ begins to get a whole lot more rhythm and start the dancehall melodies of the record. The delectable fusion of culture, conceptual themes, and absolutely meticulous execution of arrangement and melody makes the record airtight from back to front. It’s just filled with fun, never once even letting you feel bored in the slightest. Transcending borders, and community, Tropicon Islands is a sheer delight to diaspora fans all over. He’s found a style to infuse his native Jamaican sounds into mainstream dance music with a final product that is just loaded with fun all around.
