Far from the realm of what’s conventional, contemporary or in the norm, Lump200 don’t fail to surprise or excite on the wayward and eccentric experimental electronic haze that they hurl you into without warning on “I Am The Elephant In The Room”. There’s something so groovy yet unnerving about the arrangement, a certain creepiness that’s also strangely entrancing. There’s a mix and a multitude of darkness amongst the light here, a rather trippy vocal performance that also places you into this almost surrealist and haunting flux where you’re completely either enamoured or exceptionally intrigued by what’s left to come.
Lump200 are without a doubt interesting while also being exceptional at the madness they find a method within. It’s sensationally strange, in the most surreal and engaging way possible.
