An exceptionally pieced together and tight three song EP, “Triptych” sees Osiris Light bring out what they’re best at — hard & pulsating progressive rock music. The Perth based rockers are emotionally expressive as ever on this record, with the canvass of each song just exuding so much vibrance. There’s a depth to this record, a resonance that’s conveyed so majestically on songs like “Selah” especially. The vocals are reassuring, the kind of endearing performance that reaches out and has you feeling like they’re right there with you. On the longer and more progresssively descriptive “Thirty Three”, the group create a sound that’s much more epic and grandiose in scale and stature. There’s an immense quality to this group that they’re able to deliver in spades across this incredibly precise three track EP.
