At it’s core, ‘On the cusp’ is about change and transition. Writing as someone who’s going through a transitory phase in their own life, on the verge of dropping an entire life and picking up something entirely new, its message struck me deeply, reassuring me and also empathising with my own predicaments. A magically melodic piece of modern folk.
