It’s so innately liberating. Starting with a funky percussive and summery acoustics before a highly processed vocal intro gives way to a more conventionally appealing contemporary pop vibe. The processed chorus just makes you feel on top of the world, almost imploring you to sing along at the top of your lungs. Few songs are able to just inject you with a confidence and happiness as refreshingly easy as ‘5th Floor’. I’m so excited for more music from this group, they have an imagination and uniqueness that marks them as a distinctive force in modern pop.
