An incredibly mellow and relaxing piece of folk inspired lofi rock music, Danish group The Street Flyers have the perfect record to unwind to at the end of a laborious and exhausting day. Driven by guitar, the melodies are exquisitely intricate without sounding pretentious or suffocating. There’s simplicity in the delivery, a kind of immediately pleasing dose of intoxication that leaves your muscles, brain, and mind at complete rest. The electric guitar composition feels like waves all around you, washing and splashing on you while leaving you entirely blissfully ignorant to your surroundings.
The entire record is an exotic yet relatable assortment of deliciously delectable guitar pops, immediately serenading string works, and a rhythmic flow to swoon you down. It’s all you’d need when you’re looking for that little bit of subtlety and measured meticulousness in your instrumental playlists. There’s also a whole lot of swagger in some of the tunes. Take the shorter piece ‘Blues Takes Two’. Here, The Street Flyers are on over drive, offering a flourishingly funky piece of electric guitar driven blues rock.
It’s not an immediate crowd pleaser nor is it in an infectious banger after banger project. What ‘It’s All Good’ is best for is moments of self reflection or complete and utter disassociation. It’ll find a special place in the hearts of rock enthusiasts who are looking for a little bit of style and swagger but also something that isn’t all too loud or in your face. Restrained and relaxing, switch up your lo-fi playlist with the grooves of ‘Silverstone Road’ or the complete bliss of ‘Beachminton’.
