Todd Morse is a name that most rock fans will recognise. The bassist for the immensely popular alternative rock juggernaut that are The Offsrpings also has a delectable voice of his own to share with the world. Outside of his group’s own touring schedule, Morse enjoys releasing material of his own. On ‘Screaming Babies’, he brings a similar style and energy that his original group might have. Combining elements of ska punk with alternative rock, the song just has such a youthful exuberance and fun that you can’t help but fall in love with.
It’s decidedly fun and melodic, with a chorus that has you screaming at the top of your lungs alongside Todd Morse. A refreshing and nostalgic song at the same time, ‘Screaming Babies’ is just buckets of fun from a talent and artist who deserves attention for his solo material as much as his celebrated band.
