Haunting and foreboding from the moment it kicks off, Trish Discord sets you into a whirlwind that combines elements of the traditional with the progressive and electronic on the ominous piece that is “Ever So Holy”. It intersperses itself and playfully mixes with intent elements that are gritty and gripping alongside the more illuminating and spritely electronic elements. The track kicks itself off with these sweepingly massive waves of synth loaded bass and a melodic backdrop, fusing together to combine into what’s undoubtedly a memorably dark intro. As the chorus section comes in, you’re treated to a crash of symphonic “full band ” stylised drop. It’s heavy and rolling, a riveting rollercoaster that can oscillate between multiple styles but also bring them together with effortless ease.
Roaring, triumphant, and extravagantly cinematic, it’s a true full-scale epic.
